Michael is the CEO of Effective Altruism Australia as well as a PhD candidate in Geophysics and Off Earth mining. He is also a Geophysics and non-profit consultant and an Advisory Committee Member at The Life You Can Save Adelaide.
Michael has a passion for science and ethics communication. He has given public lectures and appeared on TV, radio and online news outlets to discuss topics of public interest including asteroid impact risk, renewable energy, effective charitable programs and interventions, public health, climate change and ethics.
Michael has a passion for science and ethics communication and has pledged to donate everything he earns over 45k each year to charity.
