LISA COTTON:

Lisa is the Co-Founder and CEO of The Funding Network, Australia’s first capacity building social enterprise that harnesses the power of storytelling via live crowdfunding events, then uses these as a lever to create deeper connections with the community via skilled volunteering and mentoring programs.

Prior to establishing TFN, Lisa was Director of Social Investment for Social Ventures Australia (SVA) for seven years.

Lisa is Non-Executive Director of mentoring organisation Kilfinen Australia, former Chairperson of Documentary Australia Foundation, former board director of School Aid Trust (and now one of its Ambassadors), and sits on the Leadership Council of the Kokoda Track Foundation.

Lisa was named in ProBono Australia’s 2017 Impact 25 list, acknowledged as one of the inspirational people in Australia’s social sector that do great and often unrecognized work.
